Overview
According to the website, the building “creates a dialogue” with its surroundings. Now, while that may sound ideal, the actual surroundings are mostly industrial waste, old factories, and traffic. There are a few art and furniture galleries as well. That being said, the building itself does look like a modern “high-rise warehouse.” This design looks risky to me. I’m not sure we’ll be able to judge very much until the building is further along. At the very least it will be interesting. The construction will be primarily from terra cotta, stainless steel, and glass. (more…)
