Overview

This project shocked me on Sunday when it was advertised in the New York Times. It proclaimed that the building would be comprised of 22 half and full-floor apartments. 22 units? This is a huge corner plot with 20 stories that could easily support 80-100 apartments. Extell, together with IMICO West End LLC have decided to go the ultra-high-end route and try to sell these units like they were at 15 Central Park West. Marketing has just begun so we’ll see how fast they move. We’ve recently covered two other buildings (235 West 71st Street & 205 West 76th Street) which also have pricey 4+ bedroom condo units available for sale. (more…)
