
I visited the sales office of 245 10th Avenue yesterday. What an incredible project. It’s hard to know what to expect when you arrive at the sales office because it’s a tough-to-find dirty old backdoor located around the corner from the building. After you climb the dusty, industrial-looking staircase you enter the world of Della Valle Bernheimer, the architecture firm which thought up the concrete ceilings, recessed track lighting and white lacquer cabinet-wall kitchens. Everything about the interiors was a touch more modern and impressive than the other High-Line projects I’ve visited recently. Plus, unlike neighboring price-shocker 200 11th Avenue, 245 10th has units that are fairly priced and sized. I encourage you to take a look. (more…)
