Overview
Located in the Manhattan Valley/Cathedral Parkway section of the Upper West Side, this former Wood-O-Rama outpost has been demolished and transformed into a brand new, six story condominium development. Designed to “mesh with the historic Upper West Side” surroundings, the brick façade emulates the pre-war aesthetic that dominates the neighborhood, while the rear of the building- a glass curtain wall- shows that the building is truly of this century.
Designed by Mihai Radu Architects, this New York firm founded in 1983 has a long history of high end residential work (one of their clients is singer Carly Simon), as well as commercial/institutional projects, including the restoration of the United Nations General Assembly, and the headquarters for Vitamin Water parent company Glaceau. Sales and marketing is being handled by Sotheby’s, and units are shown by appointment by broker Danielle Wiedemann.
