Is it possible to make a building with limited living potential and lacking location desirable? That’s what developers Vintage Group together with Core Marketing Group and William Q Brothers Architects had to ask themselves about 135 West 14th Street. As for the results of their efforts, one may say they are succeeding, having already sold 4 out of the 9 unit’s available, well before their Fall, 2008 occupancy date. Perhaps even more impressive is how they sold these units at prices asked by more luxurious neighboring projects. The average price per square foot has been roughly $1,400 so far. It might also be noteworthy that the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th floors are still out there. This project could use some vinyl siding to improve the outward appearance of the building. (more…)
