The Harsen House is a nice little condo conversion. The most telling feature of the building is that Andres Escobar designed the interiors. His projects are always very chic and cutting edge. It feels like a downtown loft building transplanted on the upper west, which is typically a pre-war neighborhood. The units are 2-bedrooms and up, priced between 2-2.5M. The two highest units have 4 bedrooms. Common charges a bit on the high side ($1,800/month) but the 10-year tax abatement keeps the overall monthly charges are $2,200, which is only slightly above average for this area. (more…)
