This partnership will include shopping privileges, personal styling consultants, and private seasonal designer collection previews, all which have been carefully customized and created for The Sheffield residents.

How did this partnership come about?  Why Fashion?

The Sheffield is located on 57th Street, a neighborhood internationally known to be a stone’s throw away to New York City’s finest shopping destinations. Our new branding “Sheffield Style” starts with The Sheffield’s unique residence layouts to tailored lifestyle amenity packages and continues with The Sheffield’s brochure designed as a high-gloss magazine format to convey the sophisticated nature of what is offered at The Sheffield.

Why pick Saks Fifth Avenue for this partnership?

Saks Fifth Avenue is a New York City retail icon.  They are one of New York City’s most sought after department stores and we felt there was great harmony between our brands. We are excited to partner with the neighborhood store and hope our residents enjoy the customized services available to them.

What is the importance of creating these unique amenities for your residents?

The Sheffield is a full service luxury condominium.  When buyers purchase at The Sheffield they are not just purchasing a home, they are immersing themselves into a luxury lifestyle, one that we continuously strive to improve. How did this partnership come about?

The Sheffield’s PR team reached out to the Women’s Fifth Avenue Club Director Sharon Cottelli, a dialogue was started and after a formal meeting with the Saks PR/Marketing team, the program was developed and finalized.

Do you see a correlation between the Fashion industry & the Architecture world influencing each others design aesthetic?

I believe that the architecture world and the fashion industry are intertwined.  Fashion designers are frequently influenced by the work of architects – whether through the use of clean, modern lines, sharp angles, or gentle curves – it all boils down to Form and Function.

An architect’s use of building materials and decorative elements, for interiors and exteriors, may often inspire a designer’s choice of color palette, fabrication, print/pattern, or embellishment.  Ultimately, architecture and fashion design both represent important art forms that give life to cities, and energize their inhabitants, around the world.

What types of services are offered to just The Sheffield residents?

To kick off this exclusive partnership, The Fifth Avenue Club at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York will host a “match-making” event where residents will be paired with their very own personal styling consultant.

Once a season, residents of The Sheffield will enjoy a special sneak preview of Saks Designer Collections.  Through private in-store events held at the Saks Fifth Avenue Club, the personal styling consultant will hand-select the latest trends and ensembles for their resident.

The Sheffield residents will also enjoy Saks Signature Shopping Experience with up to three hours in a private VIP Suite at the Fifth Avenue Club with complimentary lunch and beverages, a personalized facial, and special gift from selected skincare collections.


Additional privileges for Sheffield residents include; in-home visits with a Fifth Avenue Club style consultant for closet evaluations, wardrobe and makeup consultations, as well as personalized fittings and alteration appointments, photography and cataloguing of shoes, accessories, and clothing.  This will be provided to Sheffield residents as an additional amenity and all efforts will be coordinated through the in-house concierge service Abigail Michaels.

New 44th-Floor Sales Center and Six New Model Homes Unveiled at The Sheffield

The Sheffield has opened its new on-site sales center and six model residences, which have been meticulously designed by Cetra Ruddy to convey the gracious floor plans and refined modern details above the 35th floor, where the majority of available homes are located.  The sales center, located on the 44th floor, features the building’s stunning new custom kitchen and boasts a floor-through spacious layout, showcasing the light and views to both the north and south of the building, located at 322 W. 57th Street.

The sleek white and orange center boasts north and south views, featuring both Central Park and the New York City skyline. A wallpaper mural taken from a photograph of Central Park adorns the north wall and creates a trompe l’oeil effect to extend the view from the north windows. Center guests may enjoy coffee, tea or mineral water at the coffee bar while they explore The Sheffield’s amenities and view photography and marketing materials. The air of the sales office is energized with a refreshing citrus-scented signature candle created specifically for The Sheffield.
